Injury Prone midfielder Santi Cazorla, was spotted with Arsenal first team ahead of Wednesday’s Premier League clash against Leicester City.
Ahead of the trip to Leicester, Arsene Wenger has been putting his players through their paces under the sun at London Colney.
Cazorla joined his team-mates in training as the Spaniard continues his recovery from a long-term ankle problem.
Wenger has confirmed Koscielny underwent surgery to repair a ruptured Achilles injury sustained during Arsenal’s Europa League defeat to Atletico Madrid last week.
“You will not see him until December at best,” Wenger confirmed during his pre-match press conference.
“Koscielny is devastated.
“People have always inflamed tendons but they don’t rupture but in his case it went. I don’t know why.
“The recovery will be full because the advantage of surgery is that it heals the inflammation.”
Another notable absentee from training was Mesut Ozil.
The Germany international missed the 5-0 demolition of Burnley last weekend after complaining of a back injury.
While Cazorla has returned to team training, he is unlikely to feature before the end of the season.
“He will not be ready to play in the final game,” Wenger said.
