German outfit, Stuggart, have rejected claims of any offers from Arsenal concerning defender Benjamin Parvard.

The 22-year-old has been a media focus following growing concerns over his future at the club.

French outlet L’Equipe declared last week that the Gunners had made an enquiry on the defender’s availability last week.

It is believed that Serie A top-flight club Napoli, French outfit Marseille, and Champions League semi-finalists Bayern are eyeing the 22-year-old.

Statements from German news outlet Bild rolled out that Benjamin Parvard will not switch to any European club except his worth of £52.6 million is cleared.

Stuggart have quickly come out to dismiss reports of any interest from rival clubs and are certain and doubtless he would never be lured from the club, at least not this summer.

Sporting director Michael Reschke says “I am very relaxed about that”, and is not surprised about the false rumours milling out concerning Parvard’s future.

He told the club’s official website: “He had an exceptional season for VfB and it’s clear that he is in the focus of the international top clubs.

“In extending his contract, we naturally spoke about his career planning.

“We’ve discussed the national team, the Champions League and that it’s our mutual focus to have him play at VfB next season.”

Arsenal, under new boss Unai Emery, are yet to record any successful deal this summer despite news of completed talks with defender Stephan Lichtsteiner.
