Goalkeeping coach Chris Terpcou finally joined Arsenal after switching for Magpies Newcastle.
According to the Chronicle, Terpcou has picked Arsenal over Premier League rivals Newcastle to work under new Gunners boss Unai Emery next term.
He is expected to reunite with former colleague Woodman, a former Newcastle coach, currently training the Gunners youth side and is expectedly to work closely with the tactician next term.
With a camp full of talented goalkeepers and the need to create an atmosphere that will not only nurture their skills, but push them to the pinnacle of their career, Arsenal’s decision to hire Chris Terpcou services after convincing him to leave his job at the Magpies seem very reasonable.
Some of the youngsters who have given convincing signs that they’re worth the big strides the Gunners are taking to produce incredible shot-stoppers, who can make huge dent on the field include Emi Martínez, Matt Macey, who got his first senior team start for Arsenal in the Europa and League Cup last term.
Other shot-stoppers worthy of mention following their impressive delivery are youth team keeper Joao Virginia, 16-year-old teenager Karl Jakob Hein and Arthur Okonkwo.
Unfortunately, some others fell down the perking order and could no longer fit in the club’s game plan. The likes of Hugo Keto and Ryan Huddart were given red cards by the Premier League outfit.
