Krystian Bielik and Reiss Nelson both have the ability to make it at Arsenal, according to recently released youth left-back Cohen Bramall.

Bielik and Nelson are currently taking part in the u21 European Championships, with Bielik having scored in Poland’s first win of the tournament at the weekend.

As a result of their participation in the tournament, the duo will both return to pre-season with Arsenal a bit later than the rest of the squad.

When they do eventually return, Bramall tells Goal he thinks they both now have the talent and senior experience to shine.

“Reiss (Nelson) is ready now,” Bramall said.

“I don’t think he has to go out on loan again. Out of everyone, he is the golden boy who can go on and make it.

“I think Krystian (Bielik) is a scary player [too]. He can make it. I think a lot more youngsters will get an opportunity now with Freddie there, especially in the cup games and the Europa League.

“Freddie has coached us for the whole season, he knows who is ready, who isn’t and who is ready to go out on loan.”

Nelson scored seven goals in 773 minutes on loan with Hoffenheim in Germany last season.

He would’ve hoped to play a bit more regularly, but a couple of injuries disrupted his season and he ended up having to settle for a spot on the bench.

Nonetheless, scoring a goal every 110 minutes in your first full season of top-flight football is nothing to be sniffed at.

Nelson is still just 19 years old, and Arsenal could use a goalscoring winger like him.

Bielik also impressed on loan this season, playing in League One for Charlton. The centre-back made 34 appearances and even won the Man of the Match award in the playoff final to get his temporary team promoted.

Although he spent some time in midfield, Bielik ended the campaign at centre-back, and that’s where he’s remained for the Poland u21s so far.

Again, Arsenal could use reinforcements in that position, so there may well be an opening for the defender.
