Arsenal may be nearing a deal for Daniele Rugani after reports reveal Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici will hold talks for a possible transfer in London this week.

Despite bolstering their squad, Arsenal appear to have a very weak back-line and they are looking to fortify this aspect of their squad before the close of the window.

The Gunners have been heavily linked with the signing of several centre-backs but Rugani appears as one of the top choices of Unai Emery.

Rugani may have fallen down the selection pecking order of Juventus, this follows from the arrival of  Matthijs de Ligt and Merih Demira this summer.

He was a prominent figure in the first team of the Old Lady last term but he is unlikely going to be able to displace the aforementioned stars with Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci also there for him to contend with.

His best bet at playing regularly is away from the Turin this season, and he will be guaranteed game time at Arsenal.

And now, according to According to Calciomercato via COS Paratici is in London for transfer talks for Rugani to join  a Premier league club.

Arsenal reportedly launched a bid to sign Dayot Upamecano on Monday but the same was rejected.

Rugani seem available but the North London club are keen on taking him on a loan deal.

The 25-year-old star has been linked with a move to Manchester United but the fact that they have signed Harry Maguire means, they are no longer interested in Rugani.

Rugani is currently valued at 22,00 Mill. €.
