Arsenal host their rivals Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday as the two sides meet for the first north London derby of the 2019-20 season.

Unai Emery’s side were well beaten by Liverpool last weekend after starting the season with two wins, but the manager is boosted by the return of Mesut Ozil, who could make his first appearance this season.

Tottenham also come into this one on the back of a defeat, as Newcastle secured a surprise win at Spurs, and Mauricio Pochettino has to deal with something of an injury crisis with Kyle Walker-Peters and Tanguy Ndombele ruled out.

Dele Alli may return after recovering from injury, while Pochettino’s lack of options could see Jan Vertonghen and Christian Eriksen reintroduced to the starting line-up.

North London derbies are seldom dull, and with both sides looking to lay down an early-season marker in the race for the top four it looks a huge clash.

Arsenal: Leno; Maitland-Niles; Sokratis, Luiz, Kolasinac; Torreira, Xhaka; Pepe, Ceballos, Aubameyang; Lacazette.

Tottenham: Lloris; Aurier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Rose; Sissoko, Winks; Son, Eriksen, Alli; Kane.
