Arsenal have found out their Europa League group, being drawn against Eintracht Frankfurt, Vitoria and Standard Liege on Friday.

After the disappointment of Baku last season, Unai Emery and his side will be hoping to go one better this season and lift the trophy.

On the pitch, the Gunners’ hundred percent start to the Premier League season is over after a 3-1 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield last weekend.

But this weekend’s North London Derby saw Emery’s side unlucky not to walk away with all three points.

Alexandre Lacazette was once again forced to leave the field early but there was positive news on his condition after the game and Arsenal fans were able to witness Nicolas Pepe and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang lining up alongside the Frenchman in a three-pronged attack from the start.

The European transfer window closes on Monday, meaning these are the final few hours for any possible departures before the January transfer window.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan is set to join Roma on a season-long loan deal.

The Armenian international joined the Gunners as part of the swap deal with Manchester United for Alexis Sanchez in January 2018, but both players failed to impress at their new clubs.

Roma will be paying a fee for the loan, as well as Mkhitaryan’s wages, but there is reportedly no option to buy in the deal.

The 30-year-old has already been pictured arriving in Rome, while this summer’s new Gunners signing Gabriel Martinelli is expected to make the step up in his place.

Lacazette boost

Arsenal have been handed a welcome fitness boost ahead of the international break with the news that the injury that forced Alexandre Lacazette off during their 2-2 draw in the north London derby is less significant than had initially been feared.
