Belgium winger Yannick Carrasco has once again opened the door on a return to Europe this January.

The 26-year-old, who was recently suspended by his Chinese Super League for returning late from international duty, has once again dangled a carrot to interested suitors.

Arsenal have been heavily linked with the player, who is believed to have been on Unai Emery’s radar for some time.

The Gunners failed to lure Carrasco to London in January and The Sun reported that Emery tried to sign the player again in the summer, but before claiming Arsenal “are out of the running” with Dalian Yifang wanting £30million for his services.

Carrasco has made it clear he is keen on a return to Europe after moving to the Far East in February 2018 for a reported fee of €30million.

“A player does not lose his talent if he goes to play in another league. Future? Let’s see in January, if there is a possibility I have to be ready, but it doesn’t depend on me, it will depend on the offers and on the president,” Carrasco told RTBF.

As well as Arsenal, AC Milan could also make a fresh move for Carrasco in the January transfer window, according to a report in Italy.

Calciomercato.it claim Milan were ready to make another attempt to sign Carrasco this summer in addition to Ante Rebic and they could renew their interest in the winter.

Carrasco was in hot water with his club in June and was disciplined  for missing a game due to a delayed flight back from international duty.

Dalian Yifang were furious with Carrasco’s late return and has told him he was not welcome at the training ground.

“Yannick Carrasco of the Dalian Football Club was absent from the away game against Hebei China Fortune and missed training,” the club wrote in a statement.

“The club now imposes the following penalties on him: Order Carrasco to apologise to the team within three days and stop training.”
