Jack Grealish impressed Arsenal fans so much that they have demanded the Gunners attempt to pursue a transfer for the AVFC midfielder

Arsenal fans were so impressed with Jack Grealish during Sunday’s Premier League clash that they have demanded the Gunners try to sign the Aston Villa midfielder.

The 24-year-old was Villa’s main threat for the most part at the Emirates as Dean Smith’s side threw away their lead on two occasions and left empty-handed.

He stretched Arsenal’s midfield in the first half, running Granit Xhaka ragged, and capped off his performance with a brilliant assist for Wesley Moraes’ goal on the hour.

Accelerating through the defence, Grealish dribbled towards the byline, dragging several Gunners players with him before firing a low cross into Wesley who made no mistake with a smart finish from close range.

Such was Villa’s dominance in the middle of the park from Grealish, John McGinn and Marvlelous Nakamba, Arsenal boss Unai Emery was forced to bring Xhaka off in the second half with his captain on a booking.

Although the hosts then staged a late rally to snatch all three points, Arsenal fans took to social media to praise Grealish, with some recommending him as a transfer target.

Here’s what they had to say:

@CrisMoy77: Arsenal need a Jack Grealish all heart, spirit, work-rate, he’s our Ramsey/Jack Wilshere more than Dani Ceballos.

@ArsenalHomerton: Jack Grealish is an excellent footballer. His assist for their second goal was top draw. Would gladly have him at The Arsenal.

@Agilanism: Arsenal should go all out for Jack Grealish. The kind of English lad we need in our squad.

@Wizaaaard1: We should sign Grealish. He’s fantastic.

@Robinhoo28: Back from a very entertaining Arsenal game. Very impressed with Grealish & McGinn for Villa, Mings as well.
