Arsenal manager Unai Emery is keen to sign Karamoko Dembele as he kickstarts a youthful era at Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal want to sign Celtic startlet Karamoko Dembele but face a transfer battle with Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain for the wonderkid.

Emery is keen to blood his first-team ranks with youth as he looks to spearhead a new era in north London.

Five of the six summer arrivals at Emirates Stadium were aged 24 or under and academy graduates Joe Willock, Bukayo Saka and Reiss Nelson have been given regular minutes this season.

And now, according to the Scottish Sun, Emery wants to embellish his young attacking options with Dembele.

The 16-year-old is among the most highly-rated young forwards in Europe and made his senior breakthrough last season in a 2-1 win over Hearts.

Dembele came through the Celtic junior ranks and valued highly by Parkhead chiefs.

The Scotland winger, who has also represented Belgium at youth level, was given his first professional contract last year until 2021.

Arsenal are just the latest in a swathe of clubs looking to prise the teenager out of that deal, though.

Juventus and PSG have a long-running interest in Dembele although both clubs promote young talent more rarely.

A list of other Premier League clubs are also chasing the Celtic whizkid, according to the report.

Arsenal may have an edge with the Hoops after striking a relationship in the summer.

There was plenty of dialogue between the clubs before Arsenal secured the signing of Kieran Tierney for £25million in August.
