Arsenal fans called upon Emirates chiefs to axe Unai Emery after the Gunners blew a two-goal lead against Crystal Palace.
Emery’s side were 2-0 up inside ten minutes thanks to goals from centre-back pairing David Luiz and Sokratis Papastathopoulos.
However, Arsenal threw their lead away as goals from Luka Milivojevic and Jordan Ayew drew Palace level.
Arsenal fans thought Sokratis had scored a winning goal late on, only for VAR to disallow the goal for a supposed foul in the build up.
Fans responded to the disappointing events on social media, demanding Emery be sacked immediately.
“Sack emery now or forget top four… #EmeryOut,” fumed one Arsenal fan.
“Imagine thinking that Emery is the man for the Arsenal job, you’ve got to be kidding me,” said another.
“A complete waste of time and space! Sack him as soon as possible. No matter what happens in this game, he’s not good for Arsenal.”
A furious Arsenal supporter said: “Can you sack emery pls, we can’t play this type of football, we just can’t like wtf.”
That tweet was followed up by a fan saying: “If Arsenal don’t sack Unai Emery, he will bring more disaster than Arsene Wenger’s final years. This team has no shape or tactics.”
An Arsenal fanatic wrote: “Will someone please sack Emery?”
Another said: “Just sack Emery tonight. This is s***.”
One fan wanted Emery to have to await his fate for a little longer as they said: “Arsenal should sack Unai Emery tomorrow morning.”
One Arsenal fan had a theory on why Arsenal may be reluctant to pull the trigger.
“If we’re thinking about the £6m it takes to sack Emery then we have bigger problems,” they said.
The frustrating result leaves Arsenal in fifth and four points outside of the top four.
