Sead Kolasinac could return ahead of schedule, after progressing well this week in his return from injury.
Kolasinac picked up another injury recently, straining his left thigh. Arsenal initially ruled him out until after the winter break, but their latest update is more positive.
The club write that Kolasinac ‘progressed well this week’ and they’re now assessing him after the Burnley game at the weekend.
Things are also looking good for Kieran Tierney. Arsenal claim he’s making ‘good progress’ after his successful surgery. A return to full training in March is still what we expect at this stage.
With David Luiz and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang available after suspension, there’s a lot of good news.
Reiss Nelson and Calum Chambers are still just on schedule for now. Chambers will return in six to nine months from his ACL injury, whilst Nelson is out until after the winter break with a hamstring problem.
