January was Mikel Arteta’s first full month in charge of Arsenal, so how did the players rate?

January was a month made up of Arsenal not losing (P6 W3 D3 L0, with three of those games away) and a vast improvement in terms of attitude, application, and ability to understand what they were supposed to do compared to the dross Unai Emery served on a regular basis.

When you think about it, a month unbeaten is quite an achievement for this side so soon after getting rid of the Basque fraudster who seems incapable of seeing the role he played in his own downfall at Arsenal.
