Hector Bellerin has been suffering from a torn groin muscle which is the reason his appearances have been sporadic recently.
Writing in his Monday column on The Athletic, David Ornstein revealed The Spaniard suffered a tear in his right groin during the warm-up before our recent game against Newcastle.
He has featured against Everton and the home game against Olympiacos but was only used as a late sub against West Ham at the weekend.
Ornstein reports that the issue is causing Bellerin problems when it comes to crossing the ball and while the club have been giving him painkillers to help, they hope fewer games as the season closes out will give him time to rest and recover ahead of a potential Euro 2020 call-up.
In other injury news, Cedric Soares is finally back in full training and Arsenal are optimistic they can get Lucas Torreira back from his broken ankle before the end of the season.
