The first details of the Arsenal third kit for the 2020/21 season are starting to leak, with the new colour scheme appearing online.
According to leaks from FootyHeadlines, the new Arsenal third kit will be dark blue and orange. As they put it, ‘Legend Marine’ and ‘Light Flash Orange’, because those are definitely real colours.
There are three stripes on the sides of the shirt, as is common with Adidas designs. They’re going to use the same colour scheme for the shorts, along with a slightly darker blue in the socks.
The most interesting part is that we have an exact release date. Apparently, the new third kit is going to come out on August 20th. Just like last year, that’s after the new season starts (assuming coronavirus doesn’t cause further disruption).
As we’ve known for a while now, the 2020-21 home kit will be a darker red than this campaign. We already have leaks of the pattern on the new shirt as well.
We may well get earlier announcements of the new kits this year, even if the release date for the third kit isn’t until August.
Arsenal don’t have a rights deal with Puma to worry about this time. If they want, they could reveal the new shirts before the end of the season.
