Fabrizio Romano provided a few Arsenal transfer updates on social media in the early hours of Monday morning, as the end of the season edges closer.

Fabrizio Romano, generally considered to be one of the more reliable voices in transfer season, provided a few updates on Arsenal players on Monday.

On Matteo Guendouzi, the journalist claimed Arsenal are offering him out to many clubs. They’re looking for a swap deal, but it’s still very early days in the process.

Though Romano didn’t have any update on Dayot Upamecano, he reported that Malang Sarr is currently in talks with Bundesliga and Serie A clubs. The media recently linked the defender to Arsenal, but it appears nothing is close.

As for Arsenal top scorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, nothing’s changed. He’s still considering his contract offer from the club back in December.

Philippe Coutinho’s representatives are offering him out to many clubs, but with no advanced negotiations at this stage. Romano claims FC Barcelona certainly want to sell him, though.

Finally, Thomas Partey is still in talks with Atletico Madrid about his contract. There’s no decision just yet, which is what Arsenal are waiting for. Obviously, if he decides not to extend, that significantly increases the chances of a transfer.

To sum up, it looks like anything is still possible on Guendouzi, Aubameyang, Coutinho and Partey. Coutinho and Guendouzi both look likely to move on, but we don’t know where. Aubameyang and Partey still have decisions to make on their futures.

Sarr is starting to look less likely to join Arsenal, unless they make a move soon.

For English clubs, the window isn’t even open yet. Arsenal have two key league games and a cup final to come, so they have other priorities. Win all three, and both the budget and negotiations are more manageable.
